What This Move Is
A position where the follow ends in front of the lead, both facing the same direction, with the lead's frame across her shoulders or upper back. It hosts waves, rolls, and isolations and is a key sensual platform and connector.
Key Points
- Lead: Bring the follow to face away and frame the upper back/shoulders; lead all subsequent body movement through that frame — never the head.
- Follow: Keep your own posture and base, respond to the back-frame cues, and add styling.
- Timing: Enter over a turn (counts 1-4), then live in it.
- Common mistake: Lead crowding the follow with no space to move, or gripping the neck/head.
Style Notes
A neutral position shared with the sensual style. The entry and exit each take a clean turn, so drill those transitions before adding body movement.
