Pull-Through

Also known as: Pull pass, through-pass

The leader draws the follower straight through and past on a single hand, the two swapping ends of the line in one clean pulling pass — fast, simple and endlessly chainable.

Coach's notes — the how & why

What This Move Is

A quick place-swap where the leader leads the follower to pass straight through the slot and past him on one hand, ending in a trade of positions. It is the no-frills engine behind a lot of faster line combinations.

Lead & Follow It

The leader keeps the hand at a steady height and lets the follower travel through rather than around, releasing tension as she passes. The follower walks straight through on her line, not curving or stopping in the middle.

How It Connects

Because it is fast and clean it strings beautifully into turns and further pulls; use it to build momentum across several counts before a flourish.
