What This Move Is

Two inside or outside rotations chained across a longer musical phrase, led with sustained impulse so the follow knows it is more than a single turn.

Key Points

  • Lead: Give sustained lead and extra impulse so the follow reads two rotations, not one.
  • Follow: Spot continuously across both 4-counts; keep your axis.
  • Timing: One rotation per 4-count: 1-2-3, then 5-6-7.
  • Common mistake: Lead under-powering the second rotation; follow stopping after one.

Style Notes

Save for longer phrases where there is musical room. Pairs well with a position change on the exit.
