Titanic

Also known as: The Titanic combo

A cross-body combination built on the lady's left and underarm turns — the NY/line signature that strings turns and a cross-body lead into one flowing, recognizable run.

What This Move Is

A line-salsa turn pattern that links a cross-body lead with the lady's left and underarm turns into a single named combination. It is one of the most-taught NY/LA showpieces — flashy to watch, but built entirely from foundations you already know.

Lead & Follow It

Lead it like any cross-body run: clear the slot, mark each turn early, and keep the frame steady so the follower can read one turn flowing into the next. The follower spots each turn and stays on her own axis through the chain.

How It Connects

It enters and exits through the cross-body slot, so it drops straight back into open position and links naturally into more turn patterns or a styling hit to finish.
